Based on the Quai des Augustins and 16 rue Taranne. Oldest son of the publisher Laurent-François I with whom he sometimes collaborated. A bookseller from 1753, he was appointed Imprimeur (ordinaire) du Roi (1781–1792). Succeeded by his widow until 1807.
