Notes

Has translator's notes.

There appears to be another Italian translation of this work, published in Florence in 1832.

This version appears to be extremely rare with only one holding registered on Worldcat in Slovenia. Its listing has the additional note about the translator of whom almost nothing can be traced: "versione dal francese dell'avvocato Camillo Ciabatta romano con note del traduttore".

Both French and Italian versions of this work appear to have been put on the Vatican's Index of prohibited works. See http://www.davidboeno.org/GROEUVRE/ECRITURE/INDEXW.HTM.
