Notes

Digeon introduced Azuni to the French public praising him for the important work of synthesis of international maritime law. Moreover, the French translator highlights that the Italian author added some new contents to this French version. Digeon hoped this work would be useful when the hostilities will cease and trade will flourish again between France and its colonies.
