Notes
'From the French of Abbe Duguet, in the Year 1740'. Politics for the people, vol. 2, part. 1, n. 4 (probably October 1793), p. 51-52. The excerpt from Duguet's mirror for a prince shows how unjust warfare is criminal and damages the prince as well as his people. It is part of a series of articles in which Eaton protests against war with France. Although the circumstances are not explicitly mentioned, the anti-war message is clear.
