The same translation appeared in Thomas Cooper's edition of d'Aumont's A narrative of the proceedings etc. where Cooper indicates it was taken from the Star, so the translator remains unidentified.
The reference to the Star is most likely a reference to The Star and Evening Advertiser, the first daily evening newspaper in the world, founded in 1788 by the publishers John Murray and William Lane. Following the usual protocol, it seems likely that the Ridgway pamphlet was spun off afterwards as a stand-alone publication.
