Antoine (A./Ant.) Bruner, born in Rome from a Neapolitan family, left for Paris aged 18 but returned to join the Roman Republic in 1793, where he took the role of Tribune and was considered a dangerous "anarchiste" by the French. He was envoy to the Neapolitan Republic were he published several pamphlets, including "Pensieri politico-filantropici al Popolo-Sovrano della Repubblica Napolitana" (1799). After the fall of the Roman Republic he went in exile to Marseille. No trace of him remains after 1800.
