Published many re-issues of radical publications from the London presses. Published Wolfe Tone and authored pamphlets himself. Imprisoned in 1798-1800 and later migrated to the US where he set up a publishing business in Philadelphia. There was in contact with Mathew Carey, another exiled Irish publisher.
