Notes
The Patriot's Pocket Companion seems to be a continuation of the Patriot's Calendar, which stopped after three editions. Despite the mention 'To be continued annually' on the title page, it had only one edition. Engraved portrait of Robert Thomas Crosfeild (or Crossfield), who had been falsely accused (and subsequently acquitted) of taking part in the Popgun Plot. Contains a 'List of patriots committed to prison for high treason in the years 1794, 95 and 96' and a 'List of the persons who have been tried for the publication of PAINE's works, or other seditious writings, or for seditious words or practices, from the commencement of the alarm to the present day'. Also contains radical essays and poetry, a table of the French weights and measures, a chronology of the French Revolution and a list of general meetings of the London Corresponding Society.
