Notes
This is an English translation of the French translation of the original speeches delivered on 7 November 1792. It was published in 'A collection of addresses transmitted by certain English clubs and societies to the National Convention of France' (1793) by the ultra-loyalist Association for the Preservation of Liberty and Property against Republicans and Levellers, as proof of British radical support for the subversive principles of French republicanism. It excludes any reference to the L.C.S. (as in the French edition), although the signatures of Maurice Margarot and Thomas Hardy are given at the end. See 'London Corresponding Society', Vol.1, p. 31
