It is claimed in the preface that this treatise is well-known in England and that it is alternatively attributed to Chevalier Temple or M. King. In reality, Chas was the author. The preface also states that the translation was made years ago but was never published. Author explicitly denies a connection to the well-known work by Delolme on the English Constitution. Calls the reflections very useful to the nation in the present circumstances.
