Translation of an address by the Friends of Liberty in Newry to the French National Assembly at the occasion of the 'glorious anniversary' of 14 July 1789. Celebration of the French fight for 'the sacred human rights'. The Friends offer a donation of 6850 livres to help the French in their defense against the 'European despots'. The address is read out in the Assembly by François de Nantes.
