Second, corrected edition with an 'Avis des Editeurs'. Maïté Bouyssy indicates that the work was published with blank pages in between chapters for notes, suggesting that it was intended for study purposes, in 'Une histoire culturelle de la Révolution: "Le Salon imaginaire" de Bertrand Barère' (2019), p.39. Rachel Hammersley indicates the translator as Barère in 'The English Republican Tradition', p.162. Sylvie Kleinman has suggested that Nicholas Madgett helped Barère to translated it, 'Translation and Translators in French military strategy on Ireland' (2017, Paralleles), pp.8-9.
