According to the translator's advertisement, the original French pamphlet sold 15,000 copies in one day in Paris.Price One Shilling and Sixpence.

Analytical Review suggests it might be a pseudo-translation and adds nothing to what has already been widely reported in the English press (H.H. in vol.V, Sept-Dec 1789, p.95. Critical Review no. 58 (October 1789), p. 323. Monthly Review, vol.81: "Doubtless authentic; but too hastily translated"
