Notes

Son of John Bew, a bookseller, stationer, printer and publisher based at 28 Paternoster Row in London, who published The Political Magazine from 1780–85, and the General Evening Post from 1774–91. Trading as Bew and Stace in Haymarket in 1791, then John Bew from 1792–96. He has no official CERL record.
