Notes

Commonly known as la veuve Gorsas, she succeeded her husband Antoine-Joseph Gorsas, journalist and publisher, soon after his execution on 7 October 1793. Granted a pension by the National Convention on 1 Feb 1794, she was also compensated for the sacking of her husband's printshop on 9 March 1793. Besides books, she published J-F Bellemare's journal, 'Le Grondeur ou le Tableau des mœurs publiques' from 28 Nov 1796 until Sept 1799.

She also published some instructional manuals under her maiden name, Roudier, such as 'Le Premier livre ou Alphabet du républicain, à l'usage des écoles primaires' (An II).
